Beginning and changes
First of all he worked with an
electronic genre in Angola called Ku-duro which Is very popular in
that country. So the most incredible in this Kuduro eletronic genre
is that it comes from House Music but with a special Angolan touch.
My old name was usually called as DJ TIURU.
He worked 3 years with Ku-duro and
than in 2007 he finally switch to House music. This change was
boosted by the success in that moment coming from Europe with big
legends like Bob Sinclar and other songs from ‘Defected Records’
which is very popular in Angola. In 2013 He changed his name from DJ
Tiuru to Sugarbus.
Preferences
Sugarbus vibe is something like be
in the air flying and feel songs like some sounds coming from the
heaven which means in practice, listen to a smooth sound on his
tracks.
He like so much express himself as a
spiritual man when he makes his songs. Your main House Music
sub-genres is House music/ Deep house//Electro house and Afro House.
Collabs
He worked in a several projects
where he had a support by some cool staff like Moblack Records on his
collab with Leticia Cerqueira ‘’Wellepa’’.
He also worked in a big project focus to African people called a
‘Trio Afro’ with 3 members (He, DJ Mandas and Dj Dário) where
this project was so much recognized in Angola, Gine Bissau,
Mozambique and South Africa.
